The Walcott Chardonnay 2016

Chardonnay from Great Southern on offer here. Grilled nectarine, a drizzle of citrus.

Creamy citrus, crisp acidity, suggestion of something like caramelisation on a creme brulee. It's balanced, if perhaps not the most complex wine. Yet it's a wine you'd more than happily go to. 90

Tasted on: Wednesday 3rd July, a Flower day
Source: Sample
Price: $30
Alcohol: 13.5%
Closure: Screwcap
