d'Arenberg The Olive Grove Chardonnay 2018

I've often thought The Olive Grove perhaps might be a better name for something like a Vermentino, with - in my head at least - the associations to the Mediterranean and its briny hints.

Here, instead, it's rather riper, what with its fleshy stonefruit vibes and suggestions of tinned pineapple juice. Fleshy and ripe on the palate, the acid is minor at best. 87
