Jim Barry Watervale Riesling 2019

Lime, blossom, hint of green apple. Clare Riesling is rather evocative, and a damn bargain to boot. Safe hands Tom Barry, and a safe choice on those wine lists where found amongst an otherwise uninspired offering. A thumbs up from me.

Crisp and clippy acids bring that flavour in. Carries an energy, a vibrancy. It makes me want to be on holiday, touch of warmth on a sea breeze and tucking into some Pad Thai, or such from one of those seaside strips. Bingo. 92
