St Hugo GSM 2016

A new member of the St Hugo clan for me, that said I think it's been a part of the core for some time now. A 54/ 29/ 17% mix of the three.

Light and juicy air of red fruit: cranberry and raspberry in the main. Peppery nuances that carry through onto the palate, meshed well into a red fruit and something like a meaty/charcuterie spectrum.

Tannin, fine; acid seems a touch perky. Good wine, would look to settle. At the price point you start to compete with lower end CNDP, which it's on a par with. 92

Tasted on: Sunday 17th March, a Flower to Leaf day
Source: Sample
Price: $57.99
Alcohol: 14.4%
