Heartland Wines Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Fruit and toast, not necessarily the bombastic style of yore, but a rich-laden-substantive offering.

Palate shows more of the same, with its medium to full ways, again the rich fruit with some toasty oak presence. Lingering and residual cloven spice from the latter to top things off. 89

Tasted on: Wednesday 24th January, a Leaf to Fruit day
Source: Sample
Price: $20
Alcohol: 14.5%
Closure: Screwcap
