Hither & Yon Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

The only wine in the H&Y portfolio i've struggled with. Odd given their pedigree and the strength of the Cabernet on their home turf.

Malt, black fruit, cedary seasoning.

Medium veering to full. Good burst of flavour, concentrated black fruit, perhaps a little twist of aniseed toward the back.

Whilst it strays a little beyond generic red territory, it doesn't quite scale the heights that I see elsewhere in the portfolio. 87

Tasted on: Tuesday 21st March, a Fruit day
Source: Sample
Price: $
Alcohol: 14%
