Pertaringa Over the Top Shiraz 2014

Oft well received on these pages over the years (reviews).

Blue/black fruit, toffee-ish fudge notes; savoury notes appear with suggestion of anise.

Sure punch of flavour, with intense, concentrated fruit. It's full, silky with fine powdery tannin. There's a freshening acidity here - provides the vehicle for the tannin to flow across the palate.

No shortage of length here, black fruit flows endlessly. 92

Tasted on: Sunday 12th June, a Root day
