Schwartz Wine Co. Rosé 2019

A wine destined to remain in the memory, for it was my first wedding anniversary - in lockdown. Thank goodness that I was able to access this from the local wine store and celebrate an amazing year.

Pouring a very attractive onion skin colour, a touch of translucent shimmer for added appeal. It was the perfect counter to the light Autumnal rains that were falling.

Strawberry and watermelon, husky hints too. The palate crisp and brisk, subtle spice hints adding a layer to the finish.

Persistent and generous of length. 93

Tasted on: Saturday 18th April
Source: Retail
Price: $25
Alcohol: 13.5%
Closure: Screwcap
