Pertaringa ‘Rampart’ Vintage Fortified 2015

A blend of Shiraz and Grenache from McLaren Vale that just exudes these dense, heady choc-cherry-raspberry aromatics, the kind that you want to just want to just sink your head into, seeking solace and comfort as its aromatics envelope you.

It’s like liquid black forest gateau: black and red berry fruit, liquid ganache - yes it’s sweet, unctuous, layered velvet cascading across the palate.

Its spirited body retreats slowly, putting a little fire into your hearth. A lingering memory of what came before. 92
