d'Arenberg The Derelict Vineyard Grenache 2014

Derelicte!

Something about this just makes me think of Zoolander.

Derelicte!

Anyway, to the wine one supposes, it's a riot of fruit - fairly ripe, and sugar crusted. As I imagine. Towards the fuller spectrum.

The palate is somewhat looser in construct, light and airy in presentation, a contrast to the palate. Open. Weave, fine tannin, dense and dark.

Reminds more of a Southern Rhone representation on this showing. Observation. Nothing else. 90
