Tapanappa Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay 2024

Citrus tang, quince, touch of leesy curds in the background. Palate is chock full of stonefruit, grapefruit acidity, quince.

There's a lovely unison between integrated oak - giving some foundation for the wine - and acid tension, giving flow and length.

It feels incredibly at ease with itself, a delight to drink now, yet also provides graceful nods towards what might lay ahead. 93 Now to 2034

Anselmi Capitel Croce 2022

Capitel Croce (Cross Capital), 100% Gargenaga from Anselmi in the Veneto (North-east Italy).

Light straw, both a colour observation and aromatic reflection. Yellow nectarine, white florals, blanched almond.

It's the palate that works wonders, with layers of Meyer lemon, vanilla, stonefruit - cascading across the palate. Has a stonefruit kernel phenolic bitterness, adding depth. Lovely savoury intent here. 93

Mezzacorona Maso di Mezzo Pinot Grigio 2023

Lovely deep colour, almost like the yellow nectarine of which it's redolent.

It's still got a lovely crispness to the back end, and a long flourish to its finish.

Fig, green olive in the mix too good all round package. 90, bordering on 91.
